Aimy lets you choose which AI model powers a chatbot. The model affects answer quality and speed. The models available to you depend on your plan.

Plan Access
- Free Trial — the default model only.
- Basic — the standard models enabled for your plan.
- Pro — all platform models, plus the ability to connect your own via BYOK.
Choosing a Model
- Speed — lighter models respond faster but may give less detailed answers.
- Quality — heavier models reason better on complex questions.
Where to Set the Model
- Chatbot settings — sets the default model for that chatbot.
- Chat & Playground — switch models per message to compare results before going live.
If a model returns a temporary error, it's usually a brief, temporary issue on the AI service — try again in a few minutes.
