What is Aimy?
Aimy is an agentic RAG chatbot platform by SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd. Upload your documents and get instant, accurate AI answers from your own knowledge base — no model training required. It's designed for businesses and individuals who need reliable, source-backed answers from their own data.
What does RAG mean?
RAG stands for Retrieval-Augmented Generation. Instead of relying solely on an AI model's general knowledge, Aimy first retrieves relevant passages from your uploaded documents and then uses AI to generate an answer grounded in your actual data. Knowledge base is update instantly when you update your documents.
Who is Aimy for?
Aimy is for any business or individual who needs to answer questions from their own documents — customer support teams, sales teams, HR departments, educators, consultants, and more. Whether you're a solo user or a large team, there's a plan for you.
Getting Started
What is the difference between Admin and Team Member?
An Admin creates and manages the company account — they upload documents, configure chatbots, set up integrations, and invite team members. Team Members join an existing company and can chat with the shared knowledge base. Each company has at least one Admin.
How do I sign up?
Go to the sign up page, choose Admin or Team Member, fill in your details, verify your email, and select a plan. You can start with a free trial — no credit card required.
What documents can I upload?
You can upload PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, images, and more. Pro plan users can also import files directly from Google Drive (coming soon).
How do I invite my team members?
As an Admin, go to the Users page in your dashboard and send email invitations. Team members receive a link to sign up and immediately get access to your company's shared knowledge base and chatbots.
Plans & Pricing
What is included in the Free Trial?
The free trial (7 days) lets you explore Aimy with limited features — one chatbot, limited usage, and basic functionality. No credit card is required to start.
How much does Aimy cost after the trial?
We offer Basic and Pro plans with monthly or yearly billing (yearly saves up to 47%). All prices are in MYR and include 8% SST. Plans do not auto-renew, so you are never charged without your action. See full pricing →
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. Yearly plans receive prorated credit for remaining days. Downgrading from yearly to monthly is not supported mid-cycle, and you cannot downgrade below your current chatbot count. Upgrading from Basic to Pro monthly will cancel the initial monthly plan and start the new plan immediately.
Do plans auto-renew?
No. We do not save your credit card info so plans do not auto-renew — they expire at the end of the billing period. You'll be reminded to renew before expiry, but you'll never be charged without your explicit action.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via Stripe, which supports most major credit and debit cards. All transactions are secured with industry-standard encryption.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes! Yearly billing saves you up to 47% compared to paying monthly. You pay for the full year upfront at the discounted rate.
Features & Capabilities
What are Response Effort Levels?
Response effort controls how deeply the Agentic AI searches before answering. Low is for quick lookups and simple questions. Medium balances speed and depth for most questions. High performs thorough analysis for complex questions, detailed policies, or multi-step reasoning.
What is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)?
BYOK is a Pro plan feature that lets you connect your own OpenAI-compatible API keys. You can use providers like OpenAI, NVIDIA-NIM, or any custom endpoint — giving you full control over model choice and costs.
Can I customize the chatbot widget?
Yes. You can set the widget color, position, welcome message, bot name, and avatar to match your brand. These settings are available in the chatbot configuration page.
Does Aimy support lead capture?
Yes. You can enable lead capture to collect visitor names, emails, and contact numbers during chat sessions. Leads are visible in your conversation analytics dashboard.
Integrations
What integrations are supported?
The Pro plan allows you to embed the chatbot on any website with a single script tag as well as Telegram and WhatsApp integrations. Enterprise plans include dedicated support and custom integrations.
How do I embed my chatbot on my website?
In your dashboard, go to the chatbot settings and copy the embed script tag. Paste it into your website's HTML and the chatbot widget will appear. You can customize its appearance and behavior from the dashboard.
How does the Telegram integration work?
You can connect a Telegram bot by providing your bot token. Aimy validates the token via the Telegram API, sets up the webhook, and automatically answers questions from your Telegram users using your knowledge base.
Security & Data
Is my data safe? Will you train AI on my documents?
Your data stays yours. We never use your documents to train our models, and our AI runs on our own infrastructure. All documents are encrypted and stored securely with full data sovereignty. Generated answers are not used to retrain AI models.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on our own infrastructure with full data sovereignty. We do not rely on third-party cloud providers for document storage. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual documents from your Knowledge Base at any time. You can also request full account deletion, which removes all your data permanently.
Support
How do I get help if something goes wrong?
You can submit a support ticket from your dashboard (Help button). Our team responds within hours depending on the urgency so make sure to write the description as detailed as possible so we can assist you further.

What happens when my plan expires?
When your plan expires, your chatbots go offline and your dashboard becomes read-only. Your data is preserved for a grace period so you can renew without losing anything. Renewal opens within the last 7 days before expiry.
