Google Drive (coming soon)

Google Drive is coming soon. When it opens, it will let a company admin pick files from Google Drive and bring them into the Knowledge Base, so you do not have to download them and upload them again.

Where it stands

You can see Google Drive in the Integrations list under CONNECT, but it is not open for connections yet. The page says so, and there is nothing to set up. It is still being checked from start to finish before we let anyone rely on it.

What it will do

It will be a one time import, not a sync. You will connect your Google account, browse your folders, tick the files you want and choose Import selected. The files then land in your Knowledge Base like any other upload.

• You will be able to pick files from several folders and import them together, up to 50 at a time.
• Changes you make in Drive afterwards will not be copied over.
• Deleting a file in Drive will not remove it from your Knowledge Base.
• Disconnecting will leave everything you already imported in place.

You can upload files by hand in Knowledge Base. See Documents. If your files live in SharePoint and you want a library that stays in step, use SharePoint, which is open now on the Professional plan.
